"Preço Fresco is your shopping assistant, allowing you to find the best prices without needing flyers or trips to various stores. Just scan the barcode of the products to get real-time prices," describes the App Store.
The app already allows for price comparison between Continente, Pingo Doce, Auchan, Intermarché, and Minipreço, and is in the process of expanding to include more supermarkets.
Research can be done by product name, category or barcode, with values updated daily.
In addition, the app suggests a "fair price", helping to understand if it is worth buying or waiting for a promotion.
Users can also check the price history, a useful feature for those who want to plan their purchases more strategically.
